Reminder from Police Department to Lock Vehicles

The Village of Pleasantville, along with other jurisdictions throughout Westchester County, has experienced a spike in cases of larcenies from vehicles. While the thieves seem to be interested in cash, owners have also found expensive items removed. Should the thieves find keys or a fob inside, they have been known to steal the vehicle as well.

Please remember to lock your cars and keep items of value out of your vehicle, or out of sight.
