PLEASANTVILLE MUSIC FESTIVAL “BATTLE OF THE BANDS” WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Three young, local musical acts have been named as winners in the Lagond Music sponsored 'Battle of the Bands' competition, held over the past two weekends. In total, 19 acts participated in the battle, each playing their original music in front of a panel of music industry professionals at Lagond Music's Haven Performance Space in Elmsford. All three winners have earned the right to open up the stages at this year's Festival slated for July 9.

Chill Tent Stage -
Carter Quinn Tanis -
A Pleasantville singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, currently enrolled at Berklee School of Music in Boston.

Party Stage -
Noshows
- An upbeat, 5-piece creation of producer/musician Max Satow of Chappaqua.

Main Stage -
Platinum Moon
- A dynamic and powerful rock outfit consisting of musicians from throughout northern Westchester.

With the naming of these three acts, the Festival's line-up is nearly complete with one more Main Stage headliner expected to be named next week.

Now in its sixteenth year, the Pleasantville Music Festival, presented by Northwell Health, is known as New York’s Backyard Jam. It's become a must-attend summer event for the whole family, with great local food and drink, a warm positive vibe, and of course, world-class rock.
