NYSDOT TRAVEL ADVISORY - Traffic Shift Planned for Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Pleasant and Pleasantville

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is advising Westchester County motorists that traffic in both directions of the Saw Mill River Parkway between Exit 26 (Sprain Brook Parkway) in Town of Mount Pleasant and Exit 30 (Grant Street) in the Village of Pleasantville will shift to the outside portions of the roadway beginning Wednesday, September 7, weather permitting.

The traffic shift is necessary to facilitate an ongoing bridge replacement and rehabilitation project in Lower Westchester. One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
