In partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Pleasantville Police Department is participating in a National Drug “Take-Back” initiative on Saturday, October 29th!  This service is free of charge and anonymous…No questions asked. 

On October 29th from 10am to 2pm, a Pleasantville Police Officer will be collecting expired, unused or unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications, in the lobby of Village Hall, located at 80 Wheeler Avenue, Pleasantville NY 10570. 

What will be accepted?  Prescriptions, prescription patches, prescription medications, prescription ointments, over-the counter medications, vitamins, samples and medications for pets.

What won’t be accepted?  Hydrogen Peroxide, inhalers, aerosol cans, ointments, lotions or liquids, medications from businesses or clinics, needles (sharps) or thermometers.
