Upcoming work schedule for the Manville Road Corridor Improvement Project

Below is the upcoming work schedule for the Manville Road Corridor Improvement Project:
- Grant Street hydrant replacement/relocation: Week of 4/15/24 - Back fill watermain trenches and temporary pavement restoration (final restoration in summer) related to work to replace and relocate fire hydrant.
- Monument island surveying and prep work: Week of 4/15/24 - Surveying and preparation work will take place around Monument Island at the intersection of Memorial Plaza and Manville Road.
- Temporary removal of flag poles and removal of trees around monument island: Week of 4/22/24 - Flag poles will be temporarily removed and trees around the island taken down around monument island. This is necessary to facilitate the construction of a dedicated right-hand turn lane from Memorial Plaza to Manville Road. New trees and plantings will be placed in area as part of the civic space phase 1 project later this summer.
