Village of Pleasantville and Town of Mount Pleasant Conservation Advisory Councils (CAC) Survey, Seeking Resident Input on Value of Natural Resources in the Town/Village

The Town of Mount Pleasant Conservation Advisory Council, in partnership with the Village’s Conservation Advisory Council, has been given a grant to create a Natural Resources Inventory (NRI).  This report will “inventory” (identify, map and describe) a wide range of environmental features in our Town/Village like wetlands, watercourses, woodlands, steep slopes, flood plains, habitat and open spaces. One result can be to develop strategies to preserve and protect these natural resources or find measures to incorporate them into the Town/Village’s growth and development.  Survey will be closing September 30, 2022.

A valuable part of the NRI is public input.  Click here to take the survey!

There are only 23 questions and should take less than 5 minutes.

If you are interested in participating in additional public programs related to the NRI, please email mtpleasantnri@gmail.com.
