NYSDOT TRAVEL ADVISORY: Marble Avenue Ramps to the Saw Mill River Parkway Expected to Close in Town of Mount Pleasant, Westchester County

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising Westchester County motorists that the Marble Avenue ramps to the Saw Mill River Parkway in the Town of Mount Pleasant are expected to close, weeknights beginning Wednesday, June 22 through Friday, July 1, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists should utilize the posted detour at Exit 29 (Bedford Road) and Exit 30 (Grant Street) as an alternate. This closure is necessary to facilitate drainage work as part of the ongoing bridge replacement and rehabilitation project in Lower Westchester.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
