Your satisfaction is our goal. The Pleasantville Recreation and Parks Department seeks to provide high quality, diverse and well planned recreation programs for the entire community. It is the department’s goal to make your recreation experience an enjoyable one.
Registration
Fall Program Registration will begin on Saturday January 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Village Hall, 80 Wheeler Avenue, 2nd Floor, and will continue Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Village Hall, 80 Wheeler Avenue, 3rd Floor. No mail-in registration will be accepted. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be 18 years or older to register for a program. Senior Citizen registration is on-going at the Clinton Street Center.
Due to the popularity of our programs you will be permitted to register for your family only
Fees
Checks made payable to the Village of Pleasantville.
Refunds
Refunds will be made only when a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. The participant assumes the risk of all changes in personal and business affairs.
Programs
Are open to the Village of Pleasantville and School District residents first. Only those registered in the class will be permitted to attend. Residents residing outside the district may register, space permitting, for most programs one week after registration begins and pay an additional $10.00 fee per program.
Program Cancellations
Inclement weather cancellations will be announced on WFAS, WHUD and on the Recreation Department machine, 769-7950. School District cancellations or early dismissal due to weather will automatically cancel all Recreation Programs, including After School Activities at Bedford Road School.
Insurance
The Village of Pleasantville does not carry insurance to cover hospitalization or medical costs of persons injured during participation or spectating at any Recreation programs. All participants enter programs at their own risk.
